Roles include: Vernon, a bus driver, 50s; Eddie, a newspaper reporter, 30s; Juan, from El Salvador, 20s/30s; Naomi, who leads the bus weight loss club, 40s; Lucille, Naomi’s best friend, 40s, and Mrs. Timmons, a rider and knitter, 60s/70s. Some ensemble members will play more than one role.

The play centers on the diverse lives of riders on a city bus and the possibility that a shady mayor may put the skids to the bus service. Standing in the way is a hot-shot reporter and some motivated riders.
