Candidates Square Off Oct. 23


For your last chance to see Frederick city candidates debate, join us on Monday, Oct. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the JBK Theater at Frederick Community College. Sponsored by Frederick Community College's Phi Theta Kappa, The Frederick Extra, Frederick Magazine, and 930 AM WFMD, with emcee Bob Miller, WFMD’s morning show host. 930 WFMD Free Talk will be live streaming the debate on its Facebook page.

The 10 aldermanic candidates are up first at 6:30 p.m., and will be taking questions from a panel of representatives from each of the four sponsors until 8 p.m. Mayoral candidates Michael O’Connor and Randy McClement will debate starting at 8:15 p.m.

Early voting for the city primary is Friday, Oct. 27 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Oct. 28, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. All early voting takes place at The Frederick Senior Center, 1440 Taney Ave. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
