Expect to receive them tomorrow, getting close to 80 percent return rate for absentee ballots. One voter drove 90 minutes from work to vote. He came in to the Board of Elections at 7:50 p.m. and didn't know his polling place, so Election Director Stuart Harvey advised he cast an absentee ballot.
Democrat turnout much higher than four years ago, according to Harvey.
